Guide & Setup FAQs

Quick answers to common setup questions. For everything else, see our full FAQ page.

How do I know which guide I need?

Check the battery that came with your gear. The voltage is printed on the battery and in your product listing — AA, 3.7V, 5V, or 7V. Match that to the guide above. For 5V kits, the battery capacity (3,000 / 6,000 / 9,300mAh) is printed on the battery itself.

How do I turn my heated gear on and change heat settings?

Press and hold the power button on the garment or battery for 2–3 seconds until the LED lights up. Each press cycles through the heat settings — high, medium, and low — shown by the LED color. Full steps are in your voltage guide above.

My gear won't turn on. What should I check?

First, fully charge the battery — most issues are a low charge. Make sure the battery is firmly connected to the garment's power cable and that the cable isn't damaged. If it still won't power on after a full charge, contact our support team.

Can I wash my heated gear?

Yes — but always remove the battery first. Most ActionHeat gear is machine washable on a gentle cycle. See the Garment & Battery Care page for full washing and storage instructions.
